Transport

Worries about how to get to a GP, hospital, dental, or other medically related appointment are a great concern for elderly or frail people who cannot (or should not) drive themselves, may not be able to call on a relative or friend to take them, and can’t depend upon public transport. The Project has created a small network of volunteer drivers who are more than happy to help out and, not only take someone to and from the appointment, but also be there as a friend/companion throughout the visit – no one will be left alone.
