Garden Party
Special events can really brighten up people’s lives
This annual event is a highlight of the year. Thanks to the generosity of Mike and Lynn Rouse who give their garden over to the event and hire a marquee and caterers a great time is always had by all who attend. Carers and the people for whom they care are invited along with all our volunteers and supporters. There is always a musical accompaniment to get everyone in the mood.
A Day at the Seaside
A lunch club trip to the seaside is organised for Summer. As usual ,this relies on a group of volunteers to transport everyone to The Hut on Felixstowe promenade, help serve refreshments and the fish and chip lunch which is delivered – and then chat and chill! From this base , rickshaw rides are given and the sunshine and seafront can be enjoyed!
